Himalaya Herbals

I’ve used some of the Himalaya Herbals products and I think the products are quiet OK. It is an Ayurvedic Proprietary remedy without any harmful chemicals. I put my interest with its natural properties and reasonable price. Here are some of the products I’ve tried:

Gentle Face Wash Gel
I bought this unintentionally since I saw a buy one get one promo in a counter. Didn’t want to loose a rare chance, I chose a pair of product which suited me. My skin is oily, so I decided to pick Gentle Face Wash gel and Purifying Mud Pack. Since it was in promo, I only needed to pay the mud pack; therefore I got the gentle face wash for free!
The label on the back side of the tube stated that this face cleanser is soap free, so that it will not make your face feels tighten after the application.
It highlights its two ingredients: honey and citron (citrus). Honey has deep cleansing properties, while citron has cooling effect. I really felt the different on my first application, I got no tighten skin face and my skin looked glowing.
Wanna buy this product again? Yes, but now I’m eager of buying the other variant: Himalaya Neem face wash which is specified more for acne-prone skin.

Purifying Mud Pack
Mud pack has been found highly beneficial for treating the chronic inflammation. The advantage of mud treatment is that it retains the moisture and coolness for longer
periods. Therefore it relaxes the skin pores.
I personally don’t find a visible effect of using Himalaya Purifying Mud Pack, but knowing that many people give good raves about this, I keep my trust to use it. well, at least I find no whitehead after my masking time and my skin becomes instantly smooth.
Label behind the tube stated that the mask is enriched with mineral clay which improves circulation and makes skin soft and tender. Besides, it also contains walnut and fuller’s earth. Walnut used to remove blackheads and dead cells, while fuller’s Earth removes deep-seated impurities.
To use it is a little tricky. We should not forget to dissolve the mask with water to make a paste. Otherwise, you will find your face become very tight since the consistency of the mud pack is very thick.
After getting the paste, apply the Purifying Mud Pack evenly all over clean face and neck. Avoid the area around eyes and mouth. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes and remove with wet sponge/towel. Rinse with cool water. The mask can be used once a week

Protein Shampoo with Conditioner for Greasy Hair
I was interested with this shampoo according to its note that daily using of the shampoo does not affect the pH balance of hair. After some chemicals actions I did in the past, I got my hair damaged. But, living in Jakarta makes me to wash my hair everyday, so I became worrier that my hair will be worse.

Directions for use:
Massage the shampoo on wet hair. Leave for 1–2 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

The first three days of using this shampoo made my hair became a little clumsy, but it’s still OK for me. Entering the fourth day, I read an article about rinsing hair using tea. Being curious to try, I did it. As the result, I got my hair was really freeze the day after. Then I tried to use conditioner and it worked! Maybe I should use the Protein Shampoo with Conditioner for Normal Hair instead of greasy hair.

After being used regularly, this shampoo really helps my hair. I find that the texture of my hair becomes healthier, smoother, and glowing.
This shampoo contains Matsyakshi which has cooling effect and nourish the hair, Fenugreek with its antimicrobal properties and acts as astringent, Hibiscus which smoothen the hair texture, and Rosemary which promote the hair growth.
